Only these types of organizations may apply.• State governments.• County governments.• City or township governments.• District of Columbia government • Territorial governments or their bona fide agents in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianna Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau• Bona fide agents applying on behalf of state, territorial, and local government organizations.Governmental organizations must have the public health authority and/or legislative mandate to conduct HIV surveillance activities, which include gathering information on demographic characteristics, transmission category (mode of exposure), and all test results indicative of HIV infection. You must also have the experience, capacity, expertise, and resources to complete the comprehensive activities for this HIV behavioral surveillance program.
